MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of Surrey

Incredible Years Parent and child group facilitator

1,2,3 Magic Parenting group facilitator

I have been practicing as a counsellor for over 20 years since qualifying at the University of Surrey. My background is as a Children’s Nurse in the NHS with over 30 years’ experience working with children and their family members in many contexts and I bring my medical knowledge to inform both my work with children and adolescents and adults with medical conditions and in understanding the dynamics and struggles within families who are supporting a member with a life changing diagnosis or condition.

I have worked as a counsellor for children and adults in my NHS role, as a school counsellor in a secondary school and as a counsellor in a young person’s charity. I am a member of the BACP, and my work follows their Ethical and Practice Standards.

I believe that the counselling process offers a space, time, and opportunity to explore emotional issues in a safe-boundaried environment, facilitating a journey of personal insight, understanding and wellness for the client and I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults.

As part of ESCG I am available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings from 3.30pm and I am also available to offer parental support consultations to those who wish to consider their parenting styles and/or difficulties.

Please contact me on 07760 653663 or email me at Janine.webb62@gmail.co.uk

I look forward to hearing from you
